FanBase Seating has participated in the complete renovation of the stands of the Calp pavilion and football field by installing 1,800 SPARK CR seats.
The action has made it possible to modernize the areas intended for the public and unify the image of both facilities through a color combination aligned with the club’s colors.
A common image for two sports facilities
The project started from an objective that went beyond replacing the existing seats.
The renovation had to ensure that the pavilion and the football field shared a more coherent, recognizable and well-kept visual identity. To achieve this, a color distribution was defined capable of integrating the stands into the club’s image and reinforcing the feeling of belonging of teams and fans.
The result is a renovation that improves the general perception of both facilities and projects a more homogeneous image of Calp’s sports spaces.
SPARK CR: a solution for intensive use installations
The model chosen for the project was SPARK CR, an individual seat with backrest designed to meet the demands of stadiums, pavilions and other venues with a high frequency of use.
Manufactured by injection of high-density copolymer polypropylene, SPARK CR combines lightness, robustness and ease of maintenance. Its design incorporates high backrest and lumbar support to provide a more comfortable position for the spectator.
The seat is installed directly on the stands using two anchor points, with the possibility of using four fixings when the characteristics of the project require it. Its closed perimeter on the support surface also facilitates common cleaning tasks.
Among its main features are:
- High backrest with lumbar support.
- 100% recyclable material.
- Anti-UV stabilizer in accordance with DIN 54003 standard.
- Drain hole for spaces exposed to water.
- Robust design and adapted to sports facilities.
- Integrated numbering system.
- Possibility of customization through colors and logo.
- Testing and certification by the Biomechanics Institute of Valencia in accordance with the UNE-EN 12727:2017 and UNE-EN 13200-4:2008 standards.
Renewing a stand is also reinforcing its identity
Seats occupy a very visible part of any sports facility. Even when the venue is empty, its distribution and colors determine the image it transmits.
Therefore, renewing a stand does not only consist of replacing damaged elements. An appropriate choice allows you to visually organize the space, update the image of the venue and transfer the club’s colors to one of its main meeting points with the fans.
In Calp, the installation of the 1,800 SPARK CR seats has allowed the two facilities to be addressed as part of the same project, providing visual continuity and a common identity on and off the field.
An improvement designed to last
In addition to the aesthetic change, the project responds to the operational needs of sports facilities for continuous use.
The resistance of the model, its ease of cleaning and the different fixing possibilities help to simplify the maintenance of the stands and maintain their performance during daily use.
In this way, the action combines three essential elements in any renovation project: functionality, durability and visual identity.
